Engine air filter 1 differential pressure ? Where to start ?

    Have code for Engine air filter 1 differential pressure Spn 107 fmi 3 sa 49. Tried looking this up on Google and could not find anything at all. Any idea what this is for and how to fix it ?

    Could be a couple things. Most likely is a failed sensor. Next is if your using an aftermarket filter that could be an issue amd causeing too much pressure. Could have a bad throttle valve, clogged intake and so on. Past that you start getting into stuff like wireing and so on.

    Best bet is to just take it to a shop and have them pull the codes and run diagnostics unless you have the software and/or equipment to test for leaks or clogs and such.
