Engine/alternator noise on radio

    If you're plugged into the Aux jack, and it sounds fine when on battery but you get a lot of noise when on the charger, you have a condition known as a "ground loop".

    The easiest way to eliminate the noise is to use an isolating audio cable.

    I use one from Kensington. It lists for $20, but you can easily find them cheaper.
