I bought a 2005 volvo truck a month ago. A couple of days after I bought it I got a check engine ecu code ("fuel drive stage electrical").
Then while driving it, loaded pretty heavy going up a steep grade I lost all power had to crawl up to the crest of the grade.
took it to volvo they said it need O rings on the injectors...Called the dealer where I bought it he told me to take it to the garage he deals with. They put the O rings on. When I went to pick it up it ran worse then when I took it there. So then they said it needed a fuel pump so they put one on. Then they said it had a cracked injector...put one of those in. Still getting same error message, truck still has issues going up hills loaded. Wondering if anyone has had similar problems..any feed back would be greatly appreciated

Hello,I'am new guest on this forum.I need help! I got 2004 Volvo engine D12 automatic transmision 465 hp.I lost power,so my truck does not have too much power, especially the heavy loads. The codes that I got are Mid 128,Sid 211,Fmi 4.....Mid 128,Sid 78,Fmi 5 and on the dashboard it says"fuel feed pump driver stage electrical problem". For the past four months I have changed turbo, both egr valves,I changed the air cooler, adjusted valves and injectors.I keep up with my truck very well, truck is idoling smoothly.Right now my Mpg is 5.0.My driver says that sometimes while he is driving it pops out of gear for 2 seconds and and then back to gear by itself(in that moment the Rpm goes high) even thou if it is in the 10th gear it feels like it needs a higher gear.I have changed the shifter like 3-4 months ago,my mechanic changed the alternator, new batteries and checked all harnests. These codes I found on the forums and what they mean.If i'am not mistaken it is fuel pressure sensor,I doubt it's because of that.
