    2012 Truck. I see those Prostars on the side of the highway with that Cummins engine all the time.

    Maxxforce fans are a magnetic clutch variable speed type. They will always spin with the engine, but at a lower speed.

    Good quality foaming oven cleaner works well for cleaning both in the truck. Just be sure to cover that bumper or your gonna be headed to the paint shop.

    Seriously? Do they took a system that works perfectly and changed it up to a more complicated unproven design. Yet another reason to dislike international.

    If the fan stays on could it cause truck to Regen more often

    That's exactly what it did. Regened so much it burned the porcelain off the filter. I've been out of that truck for 2 years now. Thank God.

    Engine fans can cause up to a 50 hp load on the engine and cause over cooling which lead to over sooting and therefore excessive regens.
