engine fault code

    I have an 06 Pete 378 with a Cummins isx. It does have the diagnostic switch on dash. Wondering how to manually retrieve codes.

    Does it have a diagnosic switch under the dash above the clutch pedel. If so turn it on and turn the key on and count 3 digit faults.

    Switch is on left of stereo. Just tried that method and light comes on but don't flash. Light come on yesterday for bout half hour so code should be stored right?

    Yes you have to switch it on after key is on or turn it on then put key in on position. Yes it will store fault. Otc sells a nice code reader for about 500. It reads all makes of engine trans.cab module and abs modules.
