Hey guys,
Got an 06 Columbia with 10 speed Eaton Fuller, 3.55 gears.
Whenever I'm loaded and take an incline, the truck will free rev (rev up without the clutch mashed in) and if I get out of the throttle momentarily, or stay in shortly, depending on the situation, it will catch and keep going. However, it does not do this on every hill. I've adjusted the clutch, and replaced the adjuster on it. I don't hear any grinding or noises like it may be the transmission.
I'm guessing its got to be the clutch slipping and its time to bite the bullet and put in a new one right?
Thanks for the input fellas,
Derek

yeah she's also been hard to start some mornings, some mornings she fires up like a scalded dog. I'm thinking either a check valve or an injector leaking down, he's going to check those things also.
I'll let yall know the diagnosis whenever I hear something.
He did just call me at 7 15 pm just to make sure I was bringing the truck in and said he was cleaning a bay out tomorrow to jump on it friday morning. I do like the customer service. It's been top notch so far.
Thanks guys,

It also may be time to address the rear motor mounts and rear main seal along with the rear structure sealing to block if there are any issues with them.
Also the trans input shaft has a tendency to wear where it contacts the pilot bearing so that should be checked too.DirtyBrown Thanks this. -

Hey guys,
Had the truck back a couple of weeks. I put a new clutch in, replaced motor mounts, new oil pan gasket, new rear main seal. Also had him check what was making it hard starting and the check valve on the back of the head, was replaced along with two fuel leaks being fixed. She's going on down the road now, trying to make up for loss time and funds. Cost me a week of down time and $3400.
Thanks for all the advice and help guys.
