Wireless yes, but every time I press the button on the remote my neighbor’s garage door opens.

Both Whites I have use a non removable “Bakelite” oval ball molded on the rod. Bet not to many but us know what that is. Lol!

 

Bakelite. They made the early Corvette bodies out of that didn't they?

 

I think you'll get that kind of mileage out of it. I used to say a million miles until the first major overhaul and a million kms till the second. That's around 650000 miles. At higher mileage you might get into all the parts that aren't change in an inframe but those are usually good for the mileage you are aiming for.
