Me personally, I wouldn't add something like that to you engine oil. I am sure they say its safe, but I would not trust it.

 

If you can't spot a oil leak, coolant leak, freon leak.

Should probably get your eyes checked.

They're all colored and leave traces.

 

Call Cummins and see what they use. I know they do that to find leaks to be 100% sure when quoting a job.

 

Easy to find leaks on a clean engine. You know a car wash is like a buck?

 

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with wanting equipment right, I did the same thing, HOWEVER,,,that was 20 years ago when repairs didn't break the bank. I give you a lot of credit ( credit not available in most areas) trying to make a go of it today. Yes, it shows an incredible amount of pride, something lacking today, and to even make it today you must go up and above what we did. Not to take the wind out of your sails, but it's inevitable, O'O's will be forced out, I saw it was beginning to tank, and wanted no part of it. As proud as I was, I didn't want to do it for nothing, and I think you'll cross that bridge eventually.

 

If it’s that dirty, after you wash it off, even Mr Magoo should be able to see where any leaks are. IMHO
