So im trying to do valve adjustment on epa10 paccar mx 13 without barring tool to turn flywheel. Is it ok to turn engine in reverse if its easier and if so how will that affect adjustment process?

If you turn the engine in in opposite direction the timing of all gear or chain drive components will be off due to backlash being incorrect. Bite the bullet and have a certified paccar shop do it. That way you have warranty on work

If you bar an engine backwards most manufacturers recommend barring it in the correct direction X amount of degrees (I've seen a wide variation of degrees from 45 to 180, check the appropriate service literature for confirmation) in order to take the backlash out. In all honesty, its easier to just turn it the proper direction.

Harbor Freight sells a 3/4 drive set cheap! A barring tool is just a 3/4 ratchet and cheater pipe, if you plan on doing your own work you'll be happy to have that ratchet more than once.
