engine whining noise in cb

As I take off in my truck I can here engine noise in the cb. Today I installed a bandit Noise filter that I got at a electronic store. It was 10 dollars, so I tried it. It was very simple to hook up. It had hot and ground in and hot and ground out to cb. It took all the wining noise out.

I do know your antenna can cause this also, But I did disconnect the coax from behind the cb and it still made the wining noise, so i knew it was coming through the power.
