Applying for a Fast Card costs money. The easiest and cheapest (free) way is to file the Application For Rehabilitation and checking "For Information". Or one could pay $50 to get a no! Just saying.

Thank you everyone! I see, I am required to have 11 year old un-prosecuted charges also have to be dealt with. Seems Canada law says you're guilty until proven inocint..
Was not prosecuted because I was able to prove before trial mistake of identity, someone in the department put my name in system pulled my address and all, but failed to match ss#. Thus why I have a grudge towards Leo 'sNavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Nolo proseque, I think they called it.

This process might be long but then you will be set for life, while Canadians who are going through the same process with the US can obtain documents in a faster time frame but the document has to be renewed every 2-3-5 years....
I guess it's the price to pay for past mistakes.....even though technically everybodys is entitled to a 2nd chances in life.
Border crossing is a privilege not a right.upnorthwpg, NavigatorWife and KriegHund Thank this. -

Read the first two sentences....
Arrested OR convicted ...
"Can You Go to Canada with a DUI?
Unfortunately, getting into Canada with a DUI is not as simple as showing up at the border with a valid United States passport. If you have ever been arrested or convicted for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, regardless of whether it was a misdemeanor or felony offense, you may be criminally inadmissible to Canada and denied entry. Regardless of whether or not you have any intention to drive while in the country, a DUI (including "under 21 DUI" and "Actual Physical Control DUI" violations) can cause you to get turned away at the border and can impede your eligibility across all Canadian immigration programs."
