or I can go purchase a truck anywhere doesn't matter rent a skateboard for 600.00 month and run for nothing less than 2.50 mile regional.

Because we all know that my 2000 Classic cant go into California to chase the high dollar freight goin to Cali.

But I cant use my Classic because no one want you to haul 33,000 lbs loads and I'm not selling my truck, because we all know the oilfields will open back up, its just a matter of when and how much will oil sell for.

2000k on 3k miles isn't making money your just being part of the problem.

Not to mention selling yourself short I know you have more self respect than that?

Yup,thas why I was just entertaining the offer.I didn't sell myself on it and was looking for the constructive critism.to further my decision.but when your wife. Who doesn't drive or know the ups and downs of being over the road. See''s the cost of "no money down or short term lease" and doesn't want me to pull 5k out of savings to put down on another truck.she needs to see the other side of the road.

Good grief man...how heavy is that thing?

I see no reason you can't put that truck you have to work. Why on earth would you want to go run a l/p for bottom of the barrel money? Look at it this way...if you run any kind of $/mile lease you are forever limted on the amount you can make based on the amount of miles you can log in a week. But if you are on a % lease you can work on increasing your revenue and decreasing your miles driven at the same time.

That's not that heavy. Hooked to a flat or step you should still be able to scale 44k or more depending on the trailer. Plenty of places you can lease onto if you look around for a company that doesn't have an age limit on trucks.
