THERE IS nothing better FOR GETTING YOU THROUGH HEAVY TRAFFIC JAMS or just being in a foul mood than XM-71 (watercolors) smooth jazz:biggrin_25520:

That show has been around for just about ever. It is Art Bells' old show. Art retired and picked George Nori for his replacement.

    I am a sirius subscriber.

Did you know with the stiletto 100 (and probably a few others) you can use it like a DVR? I can record almost any channel up to six hours at a time! I have over 20 shows recorded that I need to catch up on. I can also listen to a previous recording while still recording the current show.

I can only record one show at a time, but I can program recording times and dates. In my truck I have the radio dock wired with full time power so even when the truck is off it will keep recording or start a programmed recording.

It is a great tool if you have shows you do not want to miss. And the pause feature is also cool. When stopping for fuel or load checks, personal fluid unloading, etc...

Taking in the scenery, scanning for wildlife, making things out of clouds, talking on the CB, watching dumb moves 4 wheelers and other trucks make. :biggrin_25525:

my latest radio addiction is CNBC, between XM202 and CNBC I'm set for the day. Start my day with O&A, then on commercials go to CNBC, after O&A, CNBC or country music til Noon then flip between Lockridge report and CNBC, unless I'm in town, then I listen one of the afternoon talk shows

Looking down gazing at winter time "sweater meat"! What a pervert! Who said that? I just heard that on the CB!

One thing that makes your day is to have a schedule. When it was my turn to drive I always had my diet coke first, then ate my breakfast, usually oatmeal or granola bars. After that it was time for a dip. Then I would milk a bottle a water for awhile. Next came my sunflower seed time. Usually 4-5 handfuls would take up some time. After that no more liquids because that would have to make me pee during my 5 sleep time! After my sunflower seeds I would make any phone calls I needed to make and that would bring me right up to about bed time. So I flick the sleeper light on and off to wake up the wife as I look for a place to stop. So I pull in, go shake the wife awake, grab the dog and go for a quick walk while she gets dressed and brushes her teeth. If I needed to fuel or whatever I did so. By then the wife comes waddling out with her coffee and starts to work the logs while I run in and pee pee. Back to the truck wife is done with the logs so we take off. Go over our agenda and any happenings or calls while she was sleeping, do a quick safety talk and to bed I go. While I am sleeping the wife is yammering on the radio, she has to talk loud because her #### audio book on cd (usually harry friggin potter!) is cranked up all the way! It's cool though, I have invested in an X-large bucket of foam ear plugs from Wally World accompanies by 4 benadryl! As I am rocked into a comma from my wife's smooth driving :biggrin_25523: I soundly doze off to faintly muffles of Harry friggin Potter and my wife squeaking on the radio.

This is the utter truth believe it or not! Stay tuned for my nightly drive shift schedule!
