We just returned from vacation in the Outer Banks. The locals call some tourists 'tourons'. And it's a well deserved title.

I never tell the locals where I'm from if they ask. I always say I'm from Kentucky or Ohio. They're usually much more pleasant that way. Tell them Pennsylvania or Virginia or New Jersey and you're getting a different attitude from them. And there's a good reason for that
