I would love to be at that point by the end of the first year. But that is going to depend on the company and how much I apply myself. If we made $4k a month, even before taxes, We would be debt free in a year. And be able to afford my new motorcycle. Thinking bout a GSXR or an R1.

A tad over 25 years. But that shouldn't matter for you once you reach the one year mark. Companies rarely hold you waaaay behind a 5 year driver now days.

Depending on the company, it could take up to 7 years to reach "top" pay. Top pay, is on average, 5 cents higher than starting pay for a 5 year driver. Some more, some less.

I drive a big SLOW pumpkin orange truck with an orange trailer :biggrin_2559:

Don't worry though. There will be plenty said "bad" about them as well. So I won't try to sell you on them. They're not for everyone, but they meet my needs. And that is what matters to me.

Be advised, that pay is not truly reflective of miles run (2400). I'm considered a "system" driver, much like an OTR driver. And short runs don't bother me. We get paid a premium for short runs ;)

i cant even remember what debt is :yes2557:

I just finished my 1st 90 days here, just to give you an idea (not braging just giveing you real numbers to work with since most people are anal about hiding there "personal" numbers) I grossed $15,458.06 in my first 90 days here (3 months to the day)

And you COULD be where i am right now right now, a year from now. The company i work for only requires 1 yr OTR exp.
