Got my new truck yesterday. A 2012 Freightliner Cascadia with 83.4 miles on the odometer. Still had plastic on the seats. Epes don't play around, best equipment on the road. Got moved in last night and this morning, taking a reset today and tomorrow. Leaving out really early on Monday for a 1030 delivery on the west side of Atlanta. I will be home to watch the superbowl commercials. I don't care much for pro football or pro sports in general, college sports is much better.

Wow, that sounds great. This is one company that is in my radar. I live in Sanford, NC. Enjoy your weekend.

Just wondering how things are going for you? I start with orientation at the end of this month, out of Georgia and waiting on a trainer so they put me in orientation on the 25th. How was orientation? How are your miles doing on average? How are you likeing the new truck. They said I would be getting a Freightliner Cascadia, but who knows. Any advise you can give a 45 year old rookie? Thanks for any advise

Do they have apus? Pet policy? -
Hey folks,
I just posted a reply on flyingmusician's thread about epes but wanted to come on here and say hello as well. EPES wasn't on my list but it is now and it's at the top!
Please keep the info coming! I will be starting school at Caldwell Community College in Aug. and finishing in Oct. They are on EPES list of accepted schools so I at least have that in my favor.
Thanks again for sharing! It is very beneficial to wannabes like me!

well I'll admit.....EPES is just like most other companies.....you either make it or break it here! I've had no issues since I was able to get rid of 'Susan', one of the worst...if not THE WORST dispatcher in the company.....with her, it was nothing but 95,95,95....no miles, sit in traffic, 1800-2000 miles a week....since I got off of her board it's been around 2200-2800 to sometimes 3300 a week! And yes, I HAVE reached right over 3300 miles in 6 days here, in a 63mph truck.....stars were just aligned JUST RIGHT those 3-4 weeks I had that(not consecutive).
