Epes Transport 11.10.11

Back from the big road early this week. Trainer had a sickness in the family and had to cut it short. Still ran to Florida and back. Temp in FL yesterday was 82. Perfect weather for Claus!

 

ONE MORE WEEK TO GO!!!! Hoping to get a truck to call my own by the end of next week. Hope everyone has a great Christmas !!!! More to come as the adventure continues....stay tuned.

 

Ready to get started on the last training week. Hopefully can set up final driving test for Friday and get my assigned truck after the test.

 

Thanks Nashville! Christmas was great and New Years comes whether I'm up watching it or not. I usually opt for a good nights sleep. Hope you had a great holiday season as well.
I just got word about an hour ago that I was going to get another day off. Seems there's not much freight today. I need at least two loads this week for it to qualify for my last week of training.

 

That would be a great truck to start in! I hope I at least get a '10 Cascadia too. I like the way they ride, handle, turn radius and shift. They are much better than the '09 Columbia. Just a few more days and I will find out....

 

Just got word, trainer will pick me up late this afternoon. Got a 0300 Friday morning delivery in Coral Springs, FL. He seems to think I won't be able to test out and get my truck until next Tuesday. Sucks but what can you do??
