Do you think the prices for equipment are going to stay?
There is such a mark up on trucks and trailers that I don't believe the prices will ever go back to what they were preCovid. If they will drop down, then maybe by 15% top.

    Talking completely from my guesses:

They will drop somewhat but not a big amount, (5-10%) the price of everything has gone up, even if the economy is doing poorly and rates dive, if someone owes a note on a truck theyre selling, then they cant afford to drop the price much.

And trucks worth buying will retain value since the new iron is still too slow on delivery and priced high too

So, no, not really, prices are here to stay, economy good means demand stays high, economy bad means they have to sell at cost or a minor loss

It's all about supply and demand. If/when the supply chains catch back up, the prices will drop on used equipment.

It's most likely going to be some time before all this get caught up, my guess it not anytime in the foreseeable future. Good for those who already have equipment, not good for those getting in.

    Just for a thought….
    Just what if…
Everything is really cheap right now…
    Just what if…
Russia closes ammonium nitrate for export, a big facility in Canada is damaged, fertilizer rates go up. Corn goes up due to fertilizer cost. Corn is in everything to include fuel. Fuel goes up, so does everything else. Administration tries to help with high costs and provides bailout and stimulus checks for a hurt economy. Inflation goes through the roof from the printed money…
Just a scary thought, oh yea what if there is some Russia china Taiwan drama?
