Think I’ll toss those and get some rubber if I can; I’ve got about 15 hours left if my time is correct, they’ll be open here long before then

    650cat425 and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

That felt stuff works in a pinch but its useless if it gets wet.... U got a different headache rack then me .... If u put the straps standing straight up with the hookend on the bottom and organize them side by side it keeps them from unraveling when going down the road... it looks like that driver left u a mess... that is one thing i dont miss is cleaning out company trucks

I mean, I'm not gonna pretend to know this one for sure... I'd also suggest the cruise control trick, but if that doesn't work then I'm gonna recommend asking someone who knows their Internationals better than myself

If it's like the newer Petes I've had, just set it like you do when driving... idle it around 1000 rpm, give or take a touch so it runs smooth.

I've got plenty of rubber dunnage that they put between my boxes stacked on boxes stacked on boxes. Ever near (south of) Mansfield Ohio, lmk. Nice rubber mats. Have about 400# worth. Free. (I've shared a lot, and keep replenishing the share stack, haha!)

I’m in Ashland, Virginia haha not that far away, considering I’ve been to California then to New York right after

Leme tell ya; the Internationals are tricky. I've heard, and read it elsewhere, and I can dig up the coffers when I have more time.

There IS no opti'idle. Western, correct?

There are 'tricks' of the trade. I can advise via PM if you haven't figured it out in a few days.

People use gatorade bottles, and such......
