We worked for them to buy a truck they leased out. As of now they are impossible to get hold of on the phone. They have inside cameras because drivers walk off almost every day. Shop has no one certified and repairs are half assed to say the least. Going back to repair same thing 3 times is nonsense for one repair. Now we just heard from a friend still there. He is broke down on side of road middle of no where for 26 hours. Can't get hold of office, company canceled contract with their local road repair guy Mike911.
Payscale for company is very low 35 cents a mile. Book keeping is terrible as at least once a month you have to have corrections made. They do a lease purchase program that was good but now is terrible. Their in trouble and have to use ELD even though truck engines are pre 2000. Their trucks get pulled in regularly for inspection and many don't pass.
I would not have wrote this but when you leave a team broke down for 26 hours it is BAD.

My kinda trucking company. Drivin' over there right now in my brand new, jacked up $100k 4WD F-350. I'm sure I'll be home most weekends, if not most days. Gold plated health care that won't cost me or my family a dime. Gold plated 'defined benefit' retirement plan. Brand new 'large cars w/condos' every 6 months. Pay is incredible - will have to hire a cpa AND a financial advisor.
And then I woke up.....
