Espar Bunk Heater Help!

    Its the controller. That type doesn't work properly thremo king changed all of our trucks to the new style controller that espar changed too. All of our trucks with that style just ran and ran.

    Like volvo126 said. Pull the cover off your home thermostate and you can adjust it to go off higher than setting. Think its called an anticipator.

    I jist bought 2015 truck and it has espar heater. Works fine...only problem is if i turn off all the lights in bunk...dam thing wont work. I have two bright lights but luckily i have a red one as well. So i sleep with red light on in order for heater to work. Is this a "if the lights are off nobody is home" safe guard? Or is this normal.

    I have to either set the opti idle or leave the key in the accessory position or my heater shuts off.

    Turn that thing to two notches above full cold and go to sleep.
