We have a mix of Espar and Webasto and we absolutely love them. I have had one for 6 years and just like anything else there is regular maintainence that needs to be done.

I just installed a wabasco and there didn't seem to be an option to t into the fuel line without buying your own fittings. I just used there pick up in an empty hole. Espar might be different. The hardest part for me was drilling the holes through the bottom of the truck and then bolting it on with a drive shaft and air tanks in the way. Also the wire for the fuel pump was to short for mine. I needed to make my own. Espar may have a longer wire, idk. It was a pretty simple install though. I'm no mechanic and I figured it out. Wabasco are generally a few bucks cheaper on fleabay.
