    Hi,

Other than the obvious equipment like straps, chains, tarps, etc, what are your favorite pieces of equipment you like to use that’s kinda considered extra such as a strap winder that makes rolling your straps a lot quicker; I’m looking for anything that makes your job easier and/or faster. Furthermore, anyone have a link to a good mesh tarp or something similar for when company policy dictates you must tarp your load, but it’s something stupid like shingles and you don’t really wanna lift up on a heavy friggin tarp when it’s not necessary? Just might be my next best friend if you answer that one for me.

    Best regards, John

Pair of channel locks are life savers... can use them for anything. A small hammer if ur binders get stuck close. Or for banging winches down ur tracks in the winter all iced up..

if the tarps are yours, or you have to replace them if damaged, a couple moving blankets.

Fifth wheel puller. God forbid you ever need to throw chains, thing's a lifesaver for pulling chains between your duals

1 foot squared pieces of carpet and one of those staple guns that are like a hammer. You hit the carpet like a hammer and a staple comes out. Quick as hell covering sharp pieces of wood for tarps.

Glue/duct tape magnets to corner protectors or moving blankets to stay still on steel.

I would suggest an estwing hammer. They make getting wood chocks off your timbers a whole lot easier. One #### swing sometimes, or one good forceful pry. WD-40 or your favorite lubricant for ratchet binders. I always sprayed mine and closed them up after use to keep them ratcheting smoothly.

Cheater chains. However, you wont need them if your primary haul is sticks and bricks.
