Don't go buying tarps being a company driver. Thats a waste of the little money you'll make working for them. Just keep an eye out for tarps in better shape than yours and swap them out.

    And a side note:

Don't roll your straps onto the winches. Sure it might save time but it'll also wear out your straps (not that it matters since they aren't yours but its a pain in the ### to be loading somewhere and have to use alot of straps and have some break due to elemental fatigue) and if you pull into a muddy yard to load you have to deal with that as well.

Buy yourself a strap winder that attaches to the rub rail and let's you wind up a strap and stack it in your side box. The straps will last longer and its alot cleaner.

Also you dont have to wind every inch of the strap onto the winch.

Feed the strap through the rub rail through the winch and back up inside the rub rail between the strap thats over the load and the deck. Pull the slack and give the winch a turn or 2 by hand. Fold the excess in about 8 to 12 inch loops and stick it between the deck and strap and tighten the winch down wedging the excess between the deck and the strap section thats securing the load. Looks cleaner and more professional going down the road this way.

Kyle G. and farmerjohn64 Thank this.
