    Or even less malicious. How many service failures,truck abuses etc. The company still pays you the same if your late with a load or showed up without the proper equipment. I see many drivers that treat the truck like crap. Not saying that I don't have things I would change but all in all I am happy and never felt screwed. Once I had a delivery where the customers equipment was bad and I was the only truck around for hundreds of miles. They couldn't get it fixed till Monday so the company put me up in a hotel and paid me double detention. I didn't ask they just did. Now some would say that is just common decency and I agree. But the point is they did. Now making me sit all weekend with no pay would have been screwing me.

    Another time I can think of is when my father died the day I was coming out of the house. I already had a load and I made one call. Got a week off and bereavement pay with condolences. Nobody was angry that I couldn't do the load. Again I just don't see the screw here. But different folks have different opinions I suppose.

    the stuff I've seen and heard of where I work would blow your mind....drivers selling fuel,one cat sold portions of the alcohol load right at the truck stop,refrigerators stolen right out of the inside of the truck,drivers nailed for drugs in the trucks.....more Drug stories than I can keep count of.

    its insane what these owners put up with

    cant really blame an owner for viewing drivers as a bunch of low life's where I work

    I ran into a guy at the Petro in Amarillo, TX pissed off because Werner fired him for selling fuel at the fuel island, I asked him if he was? and told me he did, but Werner refused a cash advance, so he figured he'd just sell some fuel to get the money, Just plain stupid

    I confused at to what you think LTL is?

    I work a "shift" (usually overnight) driving a set of pups between FXF terminals. I go from my home terminal to a hub and drop off loaded trailers and then pick up loaded trailers and return to my terminal. THere is a little more involved than that, but it is the basic jist. I don't wait anywhere for 2-3 days as I am home each and every day.

    Fair enough. I get it....you are happy and content...and that is cool. So is it safe to assume, that if an "unexpected" raise is offered---you will turn it down? Because....after all, you are happy; and why screw up a good thing?

    What does accepting a raise have to do with it? Just because you accepted a raise then you were being screwed before? Seriously? That would mean every person on earth that ever got a raise was screwed.

    What does that have to do with anything? I said they paid what they said. If they said I'm getting a raise and then didn't give it to me, it would be more to your point. Get it?

    It's easy to write/post frustrated, keyboard covert, negatives.............Rewarding and positive experiences unfortunately have little reason...........to report.

    "Huh?!?"

    I'll try again;
    It's easy to covertly:glasses5:>(from the security of behind:hiding:a keyboard) write frustrated:banghead: negatives.:protest:

    "Misery:sad1: luvs company:smt056".

    Positive:headbang: experiences unfortunately have little reason to look or post in "Report a BAD Trucking Company Here".

    But then again, With a bowl of popcorn and a cold brew:occasion5:, it is entertaining to covertly:glasses5: read this thread.................:headbang:

    Apologies for the confusion:smt017. Hope this illustrated reply is easier to "get":headbang:.

    "Steve Does NOT get along well with others:smt064"> (My second grade report card's "teacher comments")
    Yep, I flunk'd:withstupid::tard: that grade!
