Every single time I have ever seen a deer he runs away

Well, it could just be an urban legend but I have heard more than enough stories that I'm not about to try and prove them wrong.

 

Ive hit a few and had a few hit me here in jersey in a four wheeler. Never enough to kill em, they just rolled then ran. Shame cause i wanted to have em cut up for steaks and burger. (Can keep hit deer, leo will give you a tag for it)

The worst road with hit deer was running east on 70 between columbus and wheeling november of '10. Coming home from orentation to meet my trainer in a co. payed rental car. It was a slaughter and i was so worried about smacking one.

 

One night in southwest MI. I saw one run under a trailer. Wow, it was like watching a meat grinder, Bambi came in little peices, flying out the sides and back. As soon as I saw the deer head for the side of the trailer I got on the binders, good thing too, as it tore out his air lines and he went for the shoulder. But still, a sight to see.
