Everyones views on foreign drivers

I am one of those people that does not care if someone wants to come to work in the U.S. As long as it is done legally and with out favoritism ,and the individual can take care of themselves while articulating in some form of English.

It is a giant PITA To do it legally, my ex and her parents did it from Italy, and that is what burns my butt when people want to allow amnesty to those that entered illegally .

Blair you racism comment made me think about a little incident that took place years back , with my ex Italian girlfriend in some little hick town in southern Georgia .
We were visiting a friend up there ,and being my girl and I had been bopping around on the road for a few weeks ,I was looking a little shabbier than normal so we went to find a place to get me a haircut.

We find this little shop ,and I am in back and this women is trimming my shaggy hair ,and as she is cutting with these giant sewing shears ,she is trying to start a conversation with me relating to THEM people that Speak Mexican and how awful Them people are.

Well somewhere thru out her Rant I did not notice her hacking my hair.

Now my girl had a thing for my lengthy locks , and as she could observe from the waiting area that my cut was not to her liking, she decided to come in back and make a comment to correct the situation.

Now to the uneducated eye and ear ,especially the ear my Northern Italian girl suddenly become one of THEM Mexicans speaking Mexican.

Now this lady is smoking livid and has these giant shears and she is going like Edward Scissor Hands while just steaming with hate towards my girl .I have never had such a fear in my life.

My girl finally just said enough , and yanked me out of the chair and slapped down 10bucks.
We walked out of the place feeling like we just escaped with our lives.

When I got back to the room and saw what a disaster my hair was. Ugh

The girlfriend whipped some tiny shears out of her bag and proceeded to make somewhat of a respectable trim out of the hacked mess.

 

Had a few in our class. Lazy and missed class and when did show up left early. Got in trucks on range and it was dangerous.Maybe others are better with dedicating themselves but I reckon with the one in our class they had taxpayer money to use and don't have to pay it back so they didn't give a squat

 

I'm willing to put my hard earned money on a bet those foreigners weren't from Australian or New Zealand. More than likely from some place above the equator hint hint wink wink nudge nudge.

 

The negative reaction American truck drivers have towards foreign drivers is restricted to those foreigners thay come from areas of the world with a drastically lower standard of living, or barbaric cultures. Coming from Australia, you won't have much issue. Maybe the rare guy that hates every immigrant, but the vast majority will welcome you.

 

I am full of shame cause I am foreigner , and did that a lot of times.:'(

I had some lady from Ruidoso,NM tell me on Facebook after we had a tit for tat on politics that she couldn't wait for Trump to be President so he could deport me back to where I came from. I said he's more than welcome to deport me back to NEW MEXICO.

 

That's freaking hilarious.

 

She incorrectly assumed that because my last name is Hispanic and I live in El Paso that I waded across the river.
