As someone with a prior felony, I've seen the industry fluctuate over the 26 yrs I've been in it, it used to be fairly easy, then in the mid 90's it got really hard, then it seemed to ease up again, and lately I've heard it trending back towards being difficult depending on the felony. One issue is going to be the background of your felony. Anything drug or alcohol related, you're essentially untouchable for at least 3 yrs, this will depend on the company policy and their insurance. Anything motor vehicle related, at least 5 yrs before anyone will touch you, and if it's sex assault or similar, it's unlikely anyone will be take you on. As much as society talks about giving people with felony convictions a second change, it's going to be up to their insurance companies and a look at their customer base. A friends wife handles HR for a moving and storage company, they will not hire any felons who have sexual or theft related convictions, and any drug or alcohol related convictions, they require drug screening every 60 days for the first 3 yrs, and you must be clean 5 yrs before they will consider letting you drive or helping you get a CDL. AS Chinatown brought up, if there's a way to get your CDL reinstated, consider a Mom and Pop company that might be more inclined to give someone a second chance.

Well, there's plenty that will hire you.
@Chinatown is an excellent resource. Listen to him and take his advice.
It's gonna be tough, but life is tough.
    I wish you the best.
You'll make it. Sometimes it just takes time. Don't get discouraged.
