You should have seen the these two guys crying at each other over a truck parked in a bobtail spot on night at Loves in Elkhart. Not sure who feels more entitled in that situation but they both were annoying I'm certain.

Many times I have paid out of pocket driving a company truck for a reserve spot. Usually east of the Mississippi is where that becomes a problem. I understand why companies would be loathe to cover that since they'd have drivers abusing the privilege for sure but sometimes you do what you have to in a situation. One of the many reasons I basically refuse to run the road in a company truck any longer. Local work, no problem.

I would pay to hear the driver's call into dispatch.

Driver: "Um, yeah, me and the truck is stuck in the middle of a river..."
    Dispatch: "What?"
    ...

Gotta love drivers who park at 4PM in a nearly empty lot, and STILL can't manage to stay inside the lines.

That’s me right now. No bobtail parking and big sign on the car side that says “NO BOBTAILS”. What do you want me to do? Park on a curve so I can get a ticket. Not my fault you decided to wait until 10pm to find a parking spot. Oh and I’m in PA near a big city so the cops love to hassle truckers when they see a chance for it.

That middle one, the strange Pilot without a horribly stupid parking arrangement is the Pilot on Monteagle, right?

No, thats 100% the pilot off I-80 in central PA near williamsport. It has that Mc'D and a decent restaraunt across the street.

Wait. There is another Pilot in PA that wasn't designed by idiots for trucks with pup trailers?

There is one on I80, mid state, with a MUCH larger lot that is pretty well set up, but that one has craters so large I stopped parking there after I bought my truck.

    Wonders never cease.
