Corner sports are my preferred parking spots. Only can get hit from one side, usually a straight pullout so you’re less likely to get hit with someone’s tail swing.

The problem is, I’m usually the one that’s too long and would be blocking the other guy in if I’m pulling a double drop. If I wake up and I’m blocked in I just knock on the guys door, progressively harder until he wakes up. Never had an issue yet.

Plus some skateboards have rear axles far back. So they sit out farther even fully in the spot.

This guy parked and went inside taking 3 spots. Later he came out, then backed out and went to the truck stops single entrance/exit, and double parked there causing a jam coming and going.

I never park on end spots. I was in a Love's last week, and a nice sweet end spot close
to the building was open, but it was near where the trucks who fueled had to make a left
to get back on the road. I avoided it and parked further away. On my way back to my truck after a shower, sure enough, I saw the truck who picked that spot with half his hood gone, fussing with the idiot driver who took it off.

You’re very smart to not park on the end of a row. I few weeks ago I saw a truck parked on the end of a row with about 100 other spots open. His hood was already a different color then the rest of the truck, so I’m guessing he didn’t learn the first time.
