    Then Cali cannot have it both ways. I rather violate the bridge than the weight.

    His ticket was for having the axels to close to the Kingpin. I have been through both MI and SC which are pretty strict and neither have pulled me over for all the way forward.

    Living in Florida I've even seen them green light people I know arent legal.

    It’s a pet peeve of mine when people call it a bridge law. So I usually say something even though I know most people don’t care and will keep calling KPRA rules a bridge rule.

    Last time I went to California my axles were set past 40 feet. What can you do when hauling 43000 lbs of pork? I just crossed the scale on 15 in the wee hours and tried my luck. I got lucky

    I have gotten a ticket for this. It’s a real thing here in MI. The law is that the center of the tandems must be 37-41’ from the kingpin give or take 6”.
