then I stated it so you mis-understood me.

If it takes me forever in a castrated truck to get up over the hill, it will kill my mileage.

The faster I can get out of and off the hill, the better things are.

23 hours ago I would have been in a sleep stupor because I couldn't sleep at 3 AM.

PDI is selling a BorgWarner turbo assembled from components for their Stage 1 turbos. Bully Dog is selling a Chinese knock off of the BorgWarner turbo that PDI builds. With the picture of the turbo Dice1 posted of his PP turbo, I suspect that is also the Chinese knock off of the BorgWarner turbo that Bully Dog sells. The reason I say this is every BW turbo I've assembled, the compressor wheel will have florescent green paint markings from where BW balanced the cartridge. The chinese versions will also have cheap V-band clamps made of steel, instead of stainless steel. They will also use standard steel nuts on the v-band clamps, instead of titanium nuts or titanium lock nuts depending on which you order, because the nuts are a separate part number from the v-band clamps. If you use standard nuts or stainless steel nuts to tighten the V-band clamps, don't expect to be able to take the turbo apart at a later date without replacing the v-band clamps, due to the nut galling on the t-bolt threads of the v-band clamp.

The stock CAT turbos isn't as efficient as the BorgWarner

The exhaust manifold Dice1 pictured is actually made by Terry Hummell at Full Tilt Performance and is sold by PP and BD also.I can also see that he hasn't learned to NOT ceramic coat the slip joints yet.

    PDI makes there own manifold

If you're interested in a real BW turbo at a reasonable price, PM me

    LBZ Thanks this.

    Good information.

If it helps, Robsredford has seen my truck and said he thought my turbo was a B/W and if it helps the number on the cold air side of turbo is 671668 A. Maybe that will tell you which B/W it is.

That is a casting number and it's on the Chinese knock offs as well. BW actually started casting their trademark logo into the turbine housing recently to combat the knock offs. I looked at your picture a little closer and noticed it has white marking paint on a compressor wheel fin, I didn't notice this earlier. BW uses white paint every now and again, I think you have a BW also, after noticing the white paint.
