Got mine at a pilot. Been very handy especially for finding somewhere with a big enough parking lot to take 10 in if I'm in between truckstops or theres alot of space between them and that #### elog is screaming I have to stop lol without it I might have to stop at a truckstop when I can look and get maybe 30 more miles in to a walmart or lowes or grocery store or something
with enough parking for a 10 and maybe restock the supplies whole I'm at it
Between that and the truckstop guide they're two very good tools to maximize time management in this new world of electronic monitoring lol

 

Same here, get both! Another thing my wife used to do is keep notes in them whenever we stuff like a walmart or secret parking place. We had our dog with us so we would also keep track of petsmarts and veternarians. Bookstores too! You can get a big rig into most Borders or Booksamillion stores. We would go there to stock up on books on cd's.

The pocket one like Ironpony mentioned was my wifes favorite one! It was a big ordeal every six months when she wore out the old one to re-write all her notes into a new one! Eventually I started making a laminated book cover for the little thing so it wouldn't get destroyed so quickly. Those books are excellent for finding the mom and pop truck stops that are uncrowded and quiet!

 

One more thing to add, when you are bored you can program your gps to all the stops in the book!

Always thought the Truckers guide and TOM TOM should have compared notes and gotten together!
