Kneejerk, at least to me, is doing something in retaliation for something happening, that ultimately doesn't make a lot of sense. Enacting some laws to keep this from happening is just something that should have been done a long time ago and it looks like we're in agreement with that. Sucks that it took something like this to awaken Ohio legislatures.

The d-bag that did this is already dead, so there's no enacting punishment on him. But these people that KNEW about the conditions these animals were being housed in and KNEW about the man's plans, should be brought up on charges and prosecuted.

    No doubt about that.

Unfortunately, in this case, these animals were all aggressive, which was a byproduct of the way they were treated by the scumbag. These animals were going after cops and zoo personnel, a farmer and his horses, too. Again, it was because of what they went through, which unfortunately forced the decision that they needed to be killed and killed quickly.

    Yep, all the way around.

"Knee Jerk" is the right word for our Governor's reaction to this. This idiot Governor of ours had an Exotic animal ban ON THE BOOKS put in place by an executive order by the previous Governor.
While many were calling for it to be extended until more permanent legislation could be introduced (you know, after they were done giving themselves raises and taking away the rights of women and working citizens) he let it expire.

Unenforceable Kasich? So now this executive order you put in place is? And NOW your going to get legislation put in place? You ****ing TOOL! Quit playing partisan politics, listen to the people (You're going to be pees'd off when SB 5 get's repealed), and go back to FOX News and get the **** out of our state. At least there I could turn you off.

While it's sad the animals had to die, I would have rather seen them go than to have them stroll into a school and take out the third grade for lunch. But this didn't have to happen. After Strickland's executive order Kasuck was supposed to enact legislation. The blame lies squarely on that douche.

    This just says it all:
