Wow! That’s not right. 3 wks with a Trainer ( not that you need it ) is reasonable, learning e logs and the new 1/2 hr fuel pump parking procedures.Schoob and Tombstone69 Thank this.

I disagree, I’d say your the last Man sitting!! Lol, sorry I had to say it!!Tombstone69 and SteerTire Thank this.

Just read your post after posting I've got 15yrs OTR, 8 flatbed, stretch, hauling overlength steel, lumber and machinery, 7 reefer(the reefer work did me in).I can back a 75ft.rig in one take and I can't even catch a cold.I'm so tired of talking to 20something female recruiters I want to start talking dirty to them(don't worry,I know better). What's a trucker to do.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

What if the people you worked for are dead.I offered to show 7 yrs worth of paper logs and they say no good.Schoob and Rideandrepair Thank this.

You're officially considered no experience.
Unofficially... any intelligent company considers your class B experience. But they won't talk about it as 'experience'.
I was like you. 7 years in trash. Rear load dumpsters. I now have a year with pneumatic tanker, bulk. Just switched to a great company who takes much comprehension into everything. It's doing reefer. I have no trainer. Would have been nice to have one for a couple days. My learning curve is steep, as always (it seems). Mostly how to handle everything. Paperwork, logs, etc. But I'm on it. They understand. If you're interested. PM me. It is OTR over most of the country. No Ca. No New England.
My first job in bulk tanker. No experience TT. All they did was try to get me to goof up. I succeeded. Yes, did stumble a little. But never fell.Rideandrepair and Tombstone69 Thank this. -
So that means 1 and 1/2 will make it.SteerTire Thanks this.
