I like my job as well which is why I voted NO. Don't wanna see JB Hunt come in and haul my freight away. No Union card No freight

    Shaggy and ACH1130 Thank this.

I agree with the subcontracting. It KILLS me seeing Werner, JB hunt and others pull UPSF freight.

Hello people. I've been reading through this thread (not every single page, lol) about everybody's experience at different places. YRC in particular. I'm a local Schneider driver looking for a change. To be honest, I enjoy what I do but I'm looking for something with more earning potential. I work between 20-30 hours a week running nights earning $970 (5 days). Once in a while I get weekend work so the pay can change. Any of you guys got some advice for me? I saw some shots taken at Schneider so take it easy on me!

Sign me up for that only 30 hours?! I was working 50-60 at YRC and the most I made was 985, and that was a 6 day week

So you guys think I should stay put huh?? I recognize it's easy work that I do. I know the pay is decent as well but I really need to earn more. The potential to do that at Schneider just isn't there. I willing to work more if I can earn more.
