I have been trucking for almost 15 years, I have spent the last year and a half as an O/O and am trying to transition back to being a company driver. My MVR is clean and my work history is solid! I do not want a job with a mega fleet, I am looking for for either a small fleet or private carrier. I have have experience with flat, step, van and refer. I live in Mebane NC and the most I want to be gone is weekly (home on weekends) I would prefer local, out and back, or 2 to 3 day runs. I don't mind working weekends if it is local, out and back, or 2 to 3 day turn just none of the 2 or 3 week dispatches. I am self insured because I have been self employed but would jump all over good company benefits, this is not a deal breaker but boy would it be nice! Other than that any good ideas would be greatly appreciated, oh and $52k is my basement and that would have to be the starting pay with increases there after. OK thanks for all your responses!!!
