experienced driver thinking about TMC

For a company driver I can`t complain. Been with them 2 1/2 years. I live in N.W Louisiana and get home every weekend. They actualy care about retention and would prefer to keep good drivers. The support from the office staff is great (payroll, human resourses, etc) they take care of things. I`ve never had a problem with getting things fixed. They`re just like any other company trying to save a buck when they can on road repairs, but it always works out. breakdowns and sitting are life, but you know all too well I`m sure.

With your experience, you might get with one of the specialized divisions. Might not work well with hometime, but that`s something you can ask them. One of my friends is with the boats now and loves it.

Strict rules and structure can be annoying at times. But stability and peace of mind are important to some

 

when i got done w orientation 50 brand ne 379s pulled in the lot ready for a driver. and in january they are going to the new 587s so the do buy new equipment!!!! and the being broke down on the side of the road is any were you go but TMC is good about fixing your truck, my trainer had buldge on one of his trailer tieres and call road service and they fixed it even though it was not blown out, most companies I have driven for would tell you to run untill it blows then we will fix it.

 

TMC is one of the good companies out there. I was with them and would go back if my current dedicated route from Monroe, LA to Dallas, TX was to end. I enjoyed my time @ TMC
