How do you find the addresses without screwing up and getting in a pinch???
How do you deal with all the loneliness one gets out there??
How do not get lost???
How do you not get all emotional when the times arise??
How do you become self sufficent and learn to rely on yourself??

Challenger, I'm gonna go in a somewhat different direction here so bear with me as I'm sincere about what I'm saying.
You have asked , 5 very relevant questions to the trucking industry...all of them , and they all have the exact same answer believe it or not...they really do.
Tonight , when you hit your knees at bed-time, just take a moment and talk to God...HE already knows your problems , and concerns , also HE knows your desire to become a driver. I'm no preacher, and I can't quote the bible chapter and verse , but I DO believe with all my heart that GOD is in control of every single aspect of all our lives, the good and the bad. He knows how much you want your dream, and if you'll ask , and pray he will see to it that you will live that dream...only it will be in his time.
Just always understand , that God will NEVER put more on your shoulders than you can bear. And HE is always ready to be there to pick you up and carry you when the time comes....You just have to do your part and trust in HIM..
Like I said , sit down and lay all of your problems at His feet , and have faith that He will make sure that your needs are met.
here is the answer to your questions:
Pray to God each and every day for the wisdom and strength to get through all of the challenges that you face each day. Trust In Him , and you'll always come out on top, no matter what others do ,or , say. He will see you thru the hardest of times, and be at your side when you feel the lowest...FAITH is your Shield...
Good Luck
Experienced drivers how do you do...????

Well guys it looks like I will be getting another temporary local job: My current boss informed me I'll never be able to make pizzas or advance in his company as thats what my original goal was. I quit my prior job so I could make some good money and work my way up to a shift mgr. All he says I'm good for is a phone guy/girl. Do not get me wrong but I want to learn and he says he does not have time yet he has time to teach other people. I talked to my dad and decided my goal is retire from a company like Averitt or South Eastern Freight Lines doing local work. One option I might consider is teaming with the right person who understands me to gain experience so I can go to my local option. But before this, I want to make sure everything is right. I'm on the right everything. Joe and Giggles know what I am referring to. What are your opinions on this????

Well guys I am putting trucking on hold as I need to take care of my personal problems first. I am determined to make it happen as my dad said, I could very well do it. I just will not settle for anything less than I think im worth. I'm just stating, I would like to taught one on one and not in a team setting. I would like to do 2-3 weeks of solo before teaming. In other word; I will not be used as someones log book.

Usually with the big companies you are paired with a mentor for a month or so, and not as team driving. In fact, if that's what your mentor tries to do you can tell the company and they will pair you up with someone else. Nobody expects a new driver to drive solo to start. That would be a liability most companies wouldn't want to deal with anyway.
The Challenger Thanks this.
