    Coming up quick on 2 years otr, Tired of chasing miles everyday. Looking to get into % pay since o/o is my long term goal. Did the turtle crawl across the nation so TMC is out.

    At the moment Im staring at BTC but am looking for any others out there.

    Keim was an option till I saw super singles on every axle. Not a particular fan of sitting for hours on a shoulder for the inevitable blown trailer tire.

    Anyone got any leads on lesser known companies that will simply give you a dispatch and then leave you alone to run it?

    Your location would help.

    I can't recommend Smokey Point Distributing enough. I have been here two years and love it. They only hire within 200 miles of a yard though.

    @Jonrulerofearth

    ELS and Meteor. Never heard of them, exactly what I was looking for. Companies that not everyone and their distant relative know. Usually hidden gems.

    Els mostly hauls steel out of Nucor mills. They are based out of NC. Talked to a few of those guys. Most seemed happy. But you better like mills!

    @noluck
    good to know, dealing with nucor mills is definitely better than dealing with longshoremen.

    Eh. Sometimes mills aren't bad. Then again they have been know to be a real time waster.
