Experiences with Schneider Finance

Please be very careful with a used truck. I trusted Arrow Truck sales when I bought my first truck used in 2009 to start my journey as an O/O. It was a 2005 Volvo 670 with less than 400,000 on it. It had been a fleet truck. It turned to be a shop Queen. With in the first month I was in the shop for issues and they found 3 DOT issues. Financed it for $38 K for 5 years thru a bank. By the time I traded it off in early 2012 it had cost me 42 K in repairs/maintenance. I put $11,000 in it just before trade off. I also still owed the bank $ so I started back with new truck payments still owing on the old truck.

 

Btw I am under a Schneider financed truck now. Reason why is the options in 3 years. 1) keep and continue finance to by out truck, 2) trade in and get another new truck or 3) hand them the keys and walk away. Plan on it being option 3 in 2 years 3 months or 118 weeks if all goes well.

 

You are right about that! If I buy something with a warranty and it goes down I might still have a truck payment due at the end of the month but that will be it! Their won't be parts and labor involved on top of my payment because that warm fuzzy feeling (warranty) has got me covered!

How did it work out going thru there program how does the finance arm work. Can u buy a truck thru them without leasing on what them
