I should make sure I'm being clear. I don't have a CDL yet. I have a regular automobile (and motorcycle) driver's license in IL. Does this change anybody's answer?

No new-hire / training company is going to care if at some point in the past you forgot to renew your class C license as long as you have a valid license when you apply. Just run down and get it taken care of. Not a huge deal to worry about.

I'm sure glad you put this thread up,I just looked at my DL and it expires in June of this yr.Which means back to the studying for my Hazmat.All this time I thought it expired April of 2013.That's what I put down on applications and noone has ever questioned it.Guess they don't look closely at the expiration date either,lol.

Nevermind,i'm just losing it is all,lol.I got my tankers endorsement today and they gave me a paper license,the plastic one comes in the mail and this paper one expires 6/3/2012.
