Expired License

Not to talk you out of trucking but as an airplane mechanic I would think you could find work doing that if you wanted. Boeing is just up the road from me and I think they are hiring. It's a far cry from Texas but I have room if you want till you get on your feet. Don't come here if you want a CDL though. I'm moving back to Kentucky to get mine.

On another note, Thank you for your service. I see lots of military aircraft in the air since I live near Lewis-McChord. They do some cool open house stuff and I'm always amazed by the dedication.

 

check with the state on the requirements to get your license renewed. Your DD214 or a copy of your discharge papers may be all that's needed to renew it.

I'd do everything I could to stay in. That would include crossing over to another branch of the service. It's not much different from service to service except one might be moving while you're working!
