She did.....and maybe it wasn't clear to YOU. Again.....it depends on what it is. Sorry but I can't make it any more clear.

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

It was a metaphorical statement, meaning it is human nature to worry most about what affects us personally.
-
I guess I will have to break it down a lil further. If all of a sudden any and all left turns on a red light became illegal I would comply immediatly. But let's say my particular religion is now illegal....I would say sorry for ya. So again...it depends heavily on what exactly it is.

I gotcha mustang....these hos regs make me sooo aggravated. And its all because of some knucklehead that didn't listen to his body and go to sleep when his body told him to. So now we have these retarded laws in place which does little to improve safety. There's an example on here somewhere that stated...and I'm paraphrasing. Just because you are legal does not mean you are safe. If I take the 10hr break that the government decides I need at a specific time but am not sleepy....is it really safe to drive during my 11hrs if I'm dead sleepy????

alot of times your company does not make the appointments alot of your bigger places that you deliver to such as walmart, home depot, etc uses internet scheduling ur company goes to there website selects the best appointment suited to YOUR best time to deliver and then big boxstore DC whse sends a comformation of that appointment time your company. your company does not always make the appointment times

SaY WhaT?!!
It's all because of some "knucklehead" who should have listened to his body and stayed in bed?
Sounds like a Trucker Tale to me.Yet the rate of Big truck truck crashes is declining.
How do you 'splain that? Are you sure it ain't the other way 'round?
Just because you're safe, doesn't mean you're legal.
The best way I know of to be safe AND legal, .........
is to stay in bed and listen for the voices. The government just wants to take care of us from the cradle to the grave. Washington DC has been doin' some PR work as of late. Madison Avenue has burned the midnight oil tryin' to come up with a slogan that folks will remember. Something catchy that is short, yet says it all. It looked like
Government Knows Best
was goin' to be the first choice, but there was some problem with a former television program with a similar title, so it was back to the blackboard. After much deliberation, it was decided that the new slogan will be,
Government Knows Better.
But they do it anyway.

Ill "splain" it like this....I know very few people that live by the government tellin them when they need to rest....all the while they get the job done AND do a standup job of not killin people. Well how's that you may ask....very simple. When they as well as myself get tired....we STOP and get a few zzzz get up and keep on truckin. Another thing, how many people you know sleep for 10hrs???????

it's kinda fun ( but sad thou ) to see how the HOS gets the blame for it all , it's not the HOS's fault that we can't make money or run out of time ! It's not even the company's fault or the shipper/receiver ! It's your fault it's his fault and it's my fault !!
as long as we drivers just live in our own little world inside the cab and every now and then with some other drivers in a truck stop nothing will change ( and if u look at the trucking industry it might never change ) as long as we can't stand united and with one voice at the same day say we are not gonna take this any more and we ain't moving before this is changed it's just gonna go on as it always did.
Nobody gives a flying f... if u sit at a loading dog an hour or a day neither do they care if u have to spend two days at a truck stop waiting for a load and why ??? u sit there for free !!
a driver should be payed by the hour from the time he/she leave home until he/she is home again. -
