There are guys and shops in southern Arizona that will polish rims and steps and fuel tanks and anything you want. They used to say on CB $5 a wheel and $10 a tank they probably raise prices since I was down there but they were always very cheap.

I never really see anyone getting the whole truck waxed or hear of people doing that as regular business or option.

lots of driver go to Blue Beacon truck wash and they use some acid on the trucks to clean them and it will mess up polished aluminum and it will also mess up the paint job after a couple years. Unless someone has the special paint job at the factory. They probably just wash truck and go.

I think it called Imron 5000 is better and above your standard factory paint. It special order on truck if someone is willing to to pay for a better quality paint. That driver won’t be going to Blue Beacon truck for the acid truck wash.

The more you wax and protect your paint the less you have to worry about a guy flipping the wrong valve at the wash and damaging it. Plenty of detail shops will ceramic coat trucks these days if you have the money for it. I usually just get a paint correction in the spring when I get my wheels done.
