    Introversion and extraversion is a continuum. You are probably a mix of both, see your shrink to be sure.

    Most of the U.S. is not democrat or republican either but a mix of both. Same thing.

    I don't want you trying to talk to me in spite of my best efforts to avoid eye contact.

    Head down, walking as fast as I can and somehow, someone reads that as "there's a fella that likes to chat".

    I'm very chatty but I chat online/ phone to get it out of my system.

    Talking with people at truck stops seems too much like stranger danger most of the time. Some truck drivers are... very lonely to say the least lol :confused:.

    As a male, I get along better with [and can talk more with] females. There are very few I could call a "friend" that are male. So, consequently, as an OTR driver, I lead a mostly solitary lifestyle.
