Hmmm you know I haven't thought of that... I'm so broke and so not ready for the road when I get there, the first few weeks is really going to suck.

I had to replace mine while in Canada .....

Cost me almost a $1000 usd
For doctor(funky tests) + two pairs

Don't be stupid....carry two pairs or you'll pay for it like I did.

Cost me a week on the road aswell....a whooolllleeee week looking at Canadian middle eastern decent ladies butts and hangin out with my drunk Aussie chick friend.

Transitions don't work in semi trucks BTW....get some polarized ones. safety glasses prescription....and your regular everyday pair.

....its all a write off so get good ones.

Can you wear contacts? I like contacts cause I can always have enough pairs with me, and I have my glasses as well.. also, with contacts I can wear regular sunglasses... so, I bring a couple pairs of glasses and plenty of contact lenses...

Can't wear contacts, but I did sink about 50 bucks into a sharp full pair of polarized sunglasses designed to fit over my perscription ones. They fit well, look good and work very well. They were for sale at the eyeglass shop. My frames were expensive so for my last change in lenses I used the same frames... still cost me 100's. So again, With that said... I'll just grab or order some cheap ones somewhere for a backup.............. great advice guys, thanks

No, no. Not old. in our PRIME! Old enough to know better. Young enough to still do it and enjoy it. Experienced enough to be able to get away with it. Choose your own "it". LOL.

I have used the zennioptical.com website another poster listed for the past few years. Everyone in my family wears glasses so we all stocked up again last month. We got 10 pairs, including shipping, for around $110. Three pairs were sunglasses. They are not top of the line but the prescriptions have been accurate. The only downside is that it takes 2-3 weeks to get them.
