Just get prepass elite? Covers all tolls and weigh stations for 24 bucks a month and get a discount on toll roads

Got mine through PA since they gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse, lol.
There’s an initial $500 required then they replenish it from my account when it gets low.
Their website (your account) is easy to understand.
E-ZPass | PA Turnpike
Does not matter where you get it but if you’re expecting a toll bill coming through the mail from like PA you may want to wait.
They sent me a bill for something like $200 but would only charge me $100 if I opened up an account with them. I forget exactly how much I saved but it was a significant amount. -
Chicago Southland oasis on 294. There’s truck parking. He can buy it inside the plaza

I'm based in TN but have EZPass Virginia (Ezpassva.com?)
I can set the replenishment to whatever I want, I do $70. Not sure why I did that. Works out fine for me though.Stringb8n Thanks this. -
Many states charge a lower rate for EZ-Passes from that state, but not out-of-state. So do some comparisons, and figure out which state you'd be racking up the most tolls in, and therefore where the discount makes the biggest difference.

I-95 Delaware toll booth sells EZ Pass on site. So does Delaware Memoral Bridge on I-295
With all the toll booth elimination; every place jacked up the cost to 'toll by plate' so buy ahead. -
And a very good reason to get one from PA if you travel the turnpike. Discount is 50% vs toll by plate. It also gives me the same discount in Florida where I use it most. Occasionally I run 77 in VA which charges a higher rate..86scotty, tscottme, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

Dang, wish I would've known that years ago. I don't travel the PA turnpike much but everytime I do I feel I'm voluntarily bending over by not figuring out a way around that BS road, but they don't make that easy.
I wonder if WV has one? The tolls on I77 get more of my money than anywhere else these days.Concorde Thanks this.
