Wow. Fourteen cases between two of the most populous states in the nation. Better mask up...
-
Not fourteen cases. Fourteen cases per 200,000 population. And the mask guidelines were dropped for most people last week.
-
Oh snap, better put on two masks then!Badmon Thanks this.

Same. I feel sorry for some of them. Like the ones that do a pretrip with it on then drive off alone with a mask. It’s becoming a safety blanket for them. It’s sad really.Trucker61016 Thanks this.

This is a direct quote from the CDC on Consideration for wearing the mask.
Notice it doesn't say eliminate the spray. It reduces it. As I've stated before. Basically w/o a mask your cough or sneeze can travel 2 or 3 isles away in a grocery store. It's why they say to still say 6' apart. It is also why I have pointed out that based on human nature, the masks, for the most part, are useless even when working 100% as stated by the CDC. Why? People are right next to each other. Almost moronic on a plan or bus. I mean if junior next to me is wearing a mask, and has covid, I'm still going to get it because some droplets will still get through. As it is only reduced spray. People in the TS and Walmart are much closer than 6' apart. So yeah, in a perfect world where everyone stays socially distanced and wears a mask, it would be helpful. But this is the real world and not some lab. The lab rats are mingling not staying in their bubbles.

As I've also stated before. You still seem stuck on maintaining the nonsequitur that because they're not 100% effective, they must therefore be 0% effective. You can use that same nonlogic to argue against seatbelts just as easily. Or hand washing. Or toothbrushing. Or showering. Or cancer surgery. Or flying. Or heck, even driving a truck.

I believe the majority of people in the United States don’t believe that masks are going to do a whole hell of a lot and that people need to be allowed to live their lives unhindered and not bullied by a few misinformed FACTS DENIERS.
I also think the many responses to this thread prove that FACT.
I think it’s about time the rest of us told these winning Karen Fact deniers to sit down shut, stop the bullying and let people live their lives.
After all life is about QUALITY of life not spending your days hiding in your basement with a mask on!Roberts450, AModelCat and Wasted Thyme Thank this. -
That's your problem right there. You should try knowledge instead of belief. Fact is, over 80% of people support mask use, while 65% of the disinformation comes from a grand total of twelve people, most of whom make a living hawking "alternative medicine" products and literature online.
Poll finds more Americans than ever think we should wear masks
