    I took a picture of a payphone(didn't work) at the TA in Dundalk, because I couldn't remember seeing one for some time.

    They're still around but probably number less then 100. The only ones still operational are the hick towns with no cell service. I don't know who operates them though. The ones I saw I think was a line paid for by the gas stations. They had notes NO LONG DISTANCE or something like that

    Lol, use to be all we had. Remember? Couple guys at Machinery Hauling refused to take the time to use one, they were the guys getting off the wrong exits.

    Still works nowadays , I always try to call on pickups and deliveries .
    It would save guys a lot of aggravation if they would just call to check things out

    That is why the ATA supports autonomous trucks they can't train the drivers to drive. Now all they have to train them to do is observe! Like playing a video game.
